The Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) proposed rule has come out! It will take time to read and digest so details will follow. At first glance, there are no changes to Cellular Tissue Product /skin substitute payment, which remain under package pricing in this site of care. Of note, “skin substitutes” are considered medical supplies for payment purposes. Stay tuned for more information as the proposed rule is evaluated.
