I have big news. The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) has partnered with the US Wound Registry (USWR) to sponsor The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Registry (HBOTR). Submitting data to this registry will satisfy the requirement of a specialty registry submission under Stage 2 of Meaningful Use (MU). HBOTR is also listed on “Clinical Trials.gov” (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT02483650) and the Registry of Patient Registries (RoPR ID 4878). Even if you participate in PQRS some other way, you can submit data to the registry and satisfy your MU requirement (which is part of the MIPS calculation, which is what got us out of the problem with the “doc fix”, which is what could have caused you to have a 25% pay cut, so, you need to do this).
