Attention everyone in the Novitas jurisdiction! Novitas will host an Open Meeting on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 10:00 AM ET to allow the public to provide feedback about proposed Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs). The Open Meeting will be held via Webinar only.
The proposed Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs) have been posted to Novitas’ website for comments.
The Proposed LCDs are the result of what they call “LCD consolidation,”DL35041 – Skin Substitutes for the Treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers and Venous Leg Ulcers and “DA54117 – Billing and Coding: Skin Substitutes for the Treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers and Venous Leg Ulcers.”
If you wish to present comments during the Open Meeting or simply attend as an observer, please register by the August 24th deadline using the appropriate presenter or observer registration link provided on our Open Meeting web page.
Later I will talk more about the policies discussed in these LCDs. In the meantime you should read the proposed LCD and sign up to attend the virtual meeting if you want to have a voice in the conversation.
