This morning, three Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) Novitas, CGS Administrators, and First Coast Service Options, published updates to their local coverage determinations (LCDs) on “Skin Substitute Grafts/Cellular and/or Tissue-Based Products,” announcing that the LCDs would no longer go into effect on October 1, 2023. (The Billing Articles associated with the LCDs will not go into effect on October 1, 2023, either.)
A new proposed LCD will be published for comment.
