Mobile wound care is one of the fastest growing areas of our field. I had the opportunity to spend the day with Dr. Haresh Kane and Dr. Michael Jensen as they made rounds on patients with wounds in a skilled nursing facility. I wanted to understand this kind of practice better. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of care they were delivering, and frankly, stunned at the size of the need for wound care in skilled nursing facilities! I asked the two of them to do an interview for Today’s Wound Clinic about their practice. This is a growing need and a great opportunity for wound care practitioners.
