Here I am at dinner with the illustrious Hyperbaric Medicine and wound care team from the Philippines at the UHMS meeting in New Orleans! This small group of physician leaders is revolutionizing care for an entire country. These are the kind of people who start new medical departments when one is needed, fly back and forth across the country to serve more than geographic area, and who, when expertise is lacking in a field, just go get trained to provide it. It is an inspiring story which I hope they will tell on this blog!
