Here I am, getting the first dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine.

In future posts I’ll provide more information about the trial data (courtesy of Dr. Carter) and any other information I get my hands on that might be useful.

What I hope is happening right now is that my immune system is starting to make antibodies to the COVID-19 virus. What I’m sure the vaccine did NOT do is change my DNA — since that’s scientifically impossible.

Thank you CHI St Luke’s Hospital The Woodlands and the fantastic staff for a really efficient, friendly and positive experience. Let’s hope this is the turning point of the pandemic.
