On Tuesday, January 30th at 12:00 pm ET, the Amputation Prevention Alliance will host a webinar, Preventing Diabetes-Related Amputations: Missed Opportunities in the Patient Care Journey. The Webinar is being released in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association’s “Missed Opportunities” map for preventing amputations. I am honored to be one of the panelists, joining University of Texas, San Antonio Podiatrist, Dr. Cyaandi Dove, The ADA’s Dr. Bob Gabbay, and Mr. Michael Resnik who suffered a below knee amputation due to diabetes. Listen in to the discussion about key areas for improvement and proactive measures that can be taken for people at risk of a diabetes-related amputation.
